Default Sidewinder Micro

Anyone using the sidewinder micro 25amp for an ax10 im running a brood 40t. Does it have good drag brakes and will it hold up to what im running?

I know of 1 person thats running 2 in his berg comp rig. He like them and they seem to hold fine.

I'v heard a few people run them on MOA, but not any on a shafty. I think the amp draw is to high but would like someone to comfirm.

this would be ran with a cc bec

You might want to contact Eddie to see what that motor will draw. I'd also definitely run an external BEC.

Also, the Micro Sidewinder should have the same drag brake programming as the rest of the Castle ESCs.

I run 2 in my MOA. I wouldn't consider one for my Shafty. I use a 10th scale sidewinder for that.

I've got one w bec in my sporty with a holmes 35 turn. Havent had any issues. I bound it up very hard this weekend, stripped the spur in three places and it didnt skip a beat. Wasnt even warm and it was close to 90 out.

Just watch extended runs for heat
