| Mamba Max Pro - Help
Picked up a used mamba max along with a 5700k motor. Ditched the motor, and just putting the esc on a stock brushed ax10 with an nimh battery. Didn't get the castle link, so I'm just swinging the setup. Plugged it all in, and the esc is super glitchy. Running the throttle either direction makes it sputter. Just for fun, hooked the 5700 motor up and it seemed to work. I checked out the manual and tried to set it up manually. There are 3 leds, I never have seen the yellow one come on. When I plugged the 5700 motor in it set off the tones, the brushed motor never does make a tone. Without the castle link I can't tell what the settings are. I'm only assuming they are still set for brushless and possibly lipo. Any help? (Sorry, it was a Mamba Max, not the Pro) Last edited by dogsofwar; 03-19-2011 at 01:36 PM. Reason: mistaken esc |

By default the ESC is set up for brushless. You can change it with your Tx and the directions. |
