What does side panels have to do with the end points not being dialed down? On top of that, are you still running the stock 3 piece steering setup?

How bound up was the rig when using the steering? What servo arm was used? Is there binding through the travel of the steering? I thought Hitec had replacement parts for those servos.

| It wasnt in a serious bind. I am using a racersedge servo horn. There is no binding. The link allows a lot of free movement. Hitec does offer replacement parts im sure.

I just figured it out. I wasnt running enough voltage to it. The 7950th is a high voltage servo and I was only running 6 volts to it. That sound about right?

| Mmmmmmm, I don't think so man. HV servos can handle high voltage, but they wont break if your not running them at larger voltages, especially not mechanical breakage. 6v. Is normal, I think you just had some mechanical bad karma. Contact Whitecaps about a warranty repair.

If you go to Hitec's website you can print out a return/repair form. customer service and warrenty are excellent, just had a 7950 fixed from them. The only repair parts offered to the public is the plastic housing, they dont offer replacement Ti gear sets. hope that will help |
