Futaba BLS157HV Servo???

What are the opinions on this servo. If I did my calcs right, it is around 513 oz in. Out of stock, but $149 on ReadyHeli doesn't seem that bad. I am on the waiting list, but I have no idea how long it will be.

You wont find many opinions, because they were just released.....

That would explain why they are so hard to find. Never looked at any HV servos til now, thanks.

Are you stuck on Futaba Servos only? Theres two other options I can think of, Jr or Hitec

My sample servo is on the way. The power rating is higher than any of the others in this size as far as I've seen.

its not a whole lot more ...its about 25-30in/oz more than a jr 8911

SuperRoo 03-25-2011 10:06 AM

The BLS157HV is very quite, smooth and fasster than all the competition out there too

And

Well

It looks good too!!!

Nope, the only Futaba servo I have owned was on my heli. Just decided to step up my servo and was looking around.

Something to concider when it comes to futaba, hitec or Jr there are many people who swear by these brands, I have used all three of these brands with no issues, buy the cheapest most powerful servos from any of these brands and you will be happy.
