| Sidewinder V2 Help
I've got my sidewinder installed but I'm not sure how to reset it. I can steer but not go forward or backwards.. I'm planning on re-setting it so I can do the option again. I do not have a castle link.

Make sure you have it set to brushed or brushless, depending on what kind of motor you have,

Use your transmitter to reprogram it. If you no longer have the programing sheet go to the Castle website to see what the "beeps" mean. As far as I know there is no "reset". | |

When you are not touching the throttle, does the controller show any lights?

The motor wires will just determine your motor rotation..... If you turn it on while having the controller at full throttle (holding) it'll boot up and give off some beeps with a green light, once it shows the red light flashing (after a series of beeps) full reverse. Then a few more ring and yellow light flashing. Let off. Wait for it to cycle it's rings again and after a few seconds when you think it's done it'll do it again arming the esc. Just ignore me. Go to the website and follow the manual. |
