I'm sure John will chime in here, but I'm going to say no. The 7T has a tendency to get hot on 3s, so 4s will likely smoke it out. 14T should be your motor of choice here I think. Specs from the description: Recommended lipo battery- 6t- 2s only. 40a continuous 7t- 2 to 3s (3s may result in overheating). 45a continous 11.1v use, 35a continuous 7.4v use 10t- 2 to 3s. 40 amps continuous 11.1v use, 30 amps continuous for 7.4v. 14t- 3 to 6s. 35a continuous 22.2v use, 25a continuous 3s use |

Only if you're wearing safety goggles and have a fire extinguisher handy.

It will run on 4s, but I wouldn't try it. I had an older motor and ran it on 4s at our TTC....fast as hell, but gets hot in a couple of minutes. Plus, JRH told me it was too many rpms for the motor, and there was a chance of throwing a wind. I run my 7t on 3s all the time....my favorite motor ever.
