Default Battery help needed.

Just got 3 new Turnigy 500 20C 3cell batteries, switched the plugs to deans as I do with all of my batteries and my charger (racers edge) keeps telling me there is a connection error when I try to charge. If I plug them to the truck, I get nothing. I don't have a voltage reader to test them.

Any Ideas whats wrong!?

Do you get that with all 3 batteries, last time I had that happen it was with a Turnigy battery as well and it ended up that there was a bad cell were the connecter of one side of the cell had come off the cell its self. You might try one of the cheap balance chargers that charges through the balance tap just to see if they will take a charge, also are your setting correct on your charger for the type of battery you are charging, I have done that before, LOL!!!!

No meter, try a 12v automotive bulb in an old socket. Crude but maybe it will work for you.

1-RadioShack has a small digital meter for under $20, get one.
2-Does your charger charge other batteries? Making sure the charger didn't die.
3-Did you get the polarity correct when you swapped the connectors?
