I need to know what is the best/cheapest radio that allows you to adjust your throttle %. Im not looking for the fanciest radio just something to get the job done so i can install my CM motor."thumbsup"

ya I would agree with the DX3E setup that is what I use and it works great and it is 3 ch got mine for about 130.00 at the LHS

Your throttle % , care to elaborate.

The throttle punch. I bought a new motor and i need to tune down the throttle but i cant do that on my current radio.

You just need to reduce the travel on your throttle channel.

What radio do you have currently?

ok if you are just wanting to tune down total travel the dx3e or possibly the gt3b will do...if you want to adjust expo i think a used dx3r,

Just got to looking at specs again, unless you need a 3 pos 3rd channel the gt3b will do what you want

I just picked up the RC4WD XR4 for $100.72 to my door. It is a basic 4ch that has limited adjustments. How ever it dose have some epa, expo and % adjustments on Ch 1 & 2. Ch 3 & 4 are 3 position but have no epa adjustments. I am going to use ch3 for my Dig II, and use ch4 for my 4ws (I will use a servo streacher for epa's on ch4) It is my first Digi, so I will learn about epa's, expo, and setting up a radio before I spend big bucks on a high $$$ whizzbang, do everything, mixing, dual esc top of the line radio. Just my .02 (for what it's worth)

I've got a Futaba 2PL 2.4ghz for some of my stuff, plenty of adjustability, cost @ $110, spare receivers @ $60.
The 3PL runs @ $10-$20 cheaper, and has cheaper receivers, too. (not by much, but still)
The fiance'e has a Spectrum DX3S, it's nice enough, but it's a lot to take on until you learn how much of the programming you can disregard.
The Futaba has one-way programming, meaning you hafta scroll through all the options to go "backwards", the Spectrum has a lot more back-n-forth navigating, useful if you do a lot of programming and know where you need to be in the menus.
I like my basic "sport" radios, so the Futaba works fine for me.
