Default Breaking in brushed motors

I just got some holmes hobbie crawlmaster motors and I was wondering if they need to be broken in or are they already?

Pull out a brush and if it is worn COMPLETELY across the face of the brush, then yes, it's broken in. If it's not worn COMPLETELY across the face of the brush, then no it's not fully broken in.

The brush and commutator are two separate things.

Can you post a picture of what you think is broken in half?
