Default Hitec 7950th noise?

My hitec 7950 steering servo, when receiving power, is making alot of racket. Almost sounds like it is shorting out, is this normal? (I am not steering, just has battery powering it)

its normal, just the servo searching for center. should clear up if you pick the truck up.

Yup, all digital servo's do it champ.

You get used to it...I find it oddly soothing.

All my Hitec digital servos are noisy as hell and my JR digital servos are quiet go figure?
