Power Supply??

The power supply I had intended on using is bad. Is only putting out approx. 5.7 volts. Could I just use my extra battery charger for my car? I got a big one for Christmas, and my old one is basically brand new still.

Yes, you can use most automotive battery chargers as a "12volt DC" power supply.

There should be no problems with amps? Or should I leave it on 50amp boost the whole time?

Depends on what you need. For a lot of chargers (for your NiCads/LiPO's) a 10A charger is OK. To run multiple chargers you may need more than 10A.

Most chargers are not designed to run the "boost" full time, only for shorter times.
