Default life of a punk dig,

whats the life expectancy of the punk dig? I have 2 bergs both with punks, both see the same comps weekly, one is about 2 month older than the other, the older one was working fine this past saturday ,today went to prasctice and the rear motor gets no power, sure the rig has seem it's share of bumps and falls but give me a break ,less than a year and it stops working.

any Ideas?

it's about 7 months old and I comp the heck out of it, maybe it's time I guess.

Is it switching at all? I had my punk dig stop switching a few weeks ago, turns out one of the wires to the RX came loose from the chip board. I soldered it back in place and it is working fine.

Then your dig is fine, the clicking is the relay, Check to see if...

theres any bad connections (inspect closely)
also see if you just have a stuck brush (pull them out, then push it back in, make sure its touching comm...your brush hood may have got dented from a rock making your brushes stick in it and not putting power to the comm

Yeah, when it craps out it will be quiet. No clicking when you switch it.

Do you hear clicking for FRONT and for REAR or is it only clicking when going to one or the other? If you can, pull it out and stick your finger on the two black boxes on the bottom. You might physically feel the click in the relays. Make sure BOTH of them are clicking individually and not just one or the other.
