Default External bec on fxr?

Is the fxr bec good enough or would it be better to use a cc bec? I'm not exactly sure wht the stock bec is on a fxr. Also I don't know if it makes a difference but I'll be using a 3cell lipo

Thanks Josh!

Stock BEC is 6V 3amps. You probably won't have any trouble on a 2S 1.9 rig, but I have external BECs on all my rigs just to be on the safe side and take the load off the FXR.

It's gonna be on a 1.5 scaler but I'll be using 3s lipo. The cc bec says 5.1v and 10amps. I'm guessing that's better?

You can program the CC BEC too, if you need more voltage. Pretty much anytime 3S is going in an FXR-powered rig, you have to use a BEC. I've gotten away with it, but like I said, you want to know you have the power for your servo.

No prob, just make sure you take the red wire out of our receiver plug when you use an external BEC!
