Default JR9100t servo died - replacement??

So my JR9100T steering servo died yesterday on my AX10. I took it apart and the gear the is driven off the motor is stripped. Not sure why although it's plastic and the rest of the gears are metal. So is there a better replacement for this?

You can buy replacement gears for about 25-30 bucks depending where you buy them.

You can also send it back in to JR and they will fix it. If it's still under warranty and you have a receipt, they'll fix it free.

Just found the gears so that might be a good fix for now.
