Novak Rock star motor Novak Rock star brushed motor. Has anyone tried this motor? |
they are a fairly new motor but for about 45-50 bucks i wound just get a handwound from brood or hh for about 10 bucks more. on novaks site they dont say much about them other than they call them expert crawling motors built by sagami and they are fully rebuildable. and it looks like they replaced the older rebuildable novak 45t and 55t. heres the link http://www.teamnovak.com/products/br...ors/index.html |
That's "new" "cheap brush motor" with a Novak sticker, other than the really cheap sealed can option. Sagami. This is humorous. TERRA CLAW CRAWLER BRUSHED MOTOR SPECS (#3556) Number of Turns: 55 Power Output: 22 Watts @ 4,500 RPM |
Does anybody have new comments about these Novak Rock Star motors? How are they performing compared to similar priced motors? How is the brake compared to cheaper motors (integy Lathe)? |

What does "sagami build" really mean, are they doing hand wound? AXIAL_SCORPION, do you have any comparison to other motor how are they performing? |
I am pretty sure there is no such thing as a handwound rock star, unless you had it made some how or the hobby shop did. I never seen one and novak doesn't list offering a handwound on their website, nor does one turn up in a google search....anyone selling a handwound for $49 at the retail level surely isn't making any money....
