| Do you think an XL-5 or EVX-2 will run three 380 motors?
I'm trying to decide what to run for an esc in a Cliff Climber 6x6 that I'm finishing up. I've read an XL-5 will run two motors in the 30-35 turn variety, but I'm curious how it might work with three stock cliff climber 380 motors? I have an EVX-2 as well, but I'm not sure how you'd wire it up to 3 motors since it has two sets of motor leads. thoughts? |

Anyone have an opinion on running an EVX-2 esc with three 380 cliff climber motors? I was considering paralleling one pair of motor leads to the front and rear axles of a 6x6, and the other pair of motor leads to the middle axle. Right now with an older rooster on 2s, motors in parallel, it won't crawl over a pillow. This for a 6x6 build in the cliff climber forum. Check it out, there's like 1, maybe 2 people following along right now... |

with the EVX-2 you need two batterys unless you do the one batt mod, Its pretty normal for the cliff climber not being able to crawl a pillow |

I have three old rooster esc's. I'm wondering giving each motor it's own rooster would work better than using the EVX-2 to run all three. | ||
