No clue on the factory, but zero usually will line up between the mounting holes on the bottom. Later EddieO |

Factory timing is 0*. The timing mark on the end bell lines up with the small dents just under it, thats 0* EDIT: Pic of 0* (yes its a fireball, just changed the brush hoods) Last edited by WIDELOAD; 04-12-2011 at 05:55 PM. |

currently i have the leads from the dig wired backwards on my rear motor and even with staggered gearing, have a little too much rear stall. Should i time it 180 and put positive back to positive or does is not matter. Also just wanted to toy with timing to get the stall just right.

It wont make any difference if you 180 it. It would just make your pos & neg wires match. I wouldn't use timing to compensate for stall. Increasing the timing increases RPM yes. But it also increases heat, comm & brush wear and decreases efficiency. Change pinion's instead. Better way to do it IMO. |

currently running a 15t/14t setup runs awesome. Just a little anal and what to dial in better. Still def nothing to complain about. If anything a little stall gives and advantage to a skilled driver.
