Default Turnigy 9x + RC4WD winch centering issue

Got a problem, not sure if there's a fix or not. I've got a Turnigy 9x 2.4ghz radio system and an RC4WD Bulldog 9300 winch. Got the winch hooked up to channel 5, which is run off of one of the knobs on the top of the transmitter (3pos switch is on the planning list).

I'm finding that after I center up the knob nicely, so that the winch is neither taking in nor paying out any line, a few minutes later it will, slowly at first, begin to pay out line. I noticed this yesterday while bouncing around in dirt, but today I've been able to get it to happen even sitting on the workbench.

Has anyone else had issues with either:
A) Turnigy radios' center trim slowly creeping

or

B) RC4WD winches not holding center trim?

My money is on the radio, they aren't the most expensive on the market, but if anyone has had similar problems and can suggest a fix, it'd be greatly appreciated.
