TTC ESC & 550 Motor choices ?
 

I'm looking choices for 2.2 tuber ttc rig so thinkin out loud here ..
I need high speed and crawl speeds ... i'm limited to 1 speed gearbox and
to only 2s :cry: - so what are my options what Kv motors i should be looking ?

motor sensored for slow crawling and 550 can size for torque:

Tekin T8 xxxx Kv ?
Novak ballistic 550 with 14mm rotor and xxxx Kv stator ?

and ESC options:

Castle Mamba Max Pro
Tekin RS8

ps. Summit tranny is not an option.

Any reason you couldn't use on of Holmes' Cobalt Puller motors? Those would be your best bet on 2S I think. Those 550 Tekin/Novak brushless motors seem like they'd be way too fast. The 6.5T might work. Novak says it's equivalent to around 3400kV. That 2S limit is a real crippler.
