Default 3 Racing Winch control questions

I made a servo winch for one of my scalers. I have the Spektrum DX3.0 which as you may know only has a 2 position 3rd channel. I still figured out an easy way to use my winch. I simply max out the EPA in ONE direction and then I have a simple click on/click off operation.. Time to change direction? Simply reverse that channel and now it works on/off in the other direction.

What I want to know is would i be able to control the 3Racing Winch like I do my servo winch?

If you get problems with winch creep, I make a winch controller that will work with radios that have a two position channel. I've been told that it allows more current to your winch and makes it faster too. There would be no more flipping your channel reversal either. This will work with a servo type winch or a scale winch like the 3Racing product.
