Default Jerking

I AM HAVING AN ISSUE WITH MY XR10 THAT I AM HOPING SOMEBIDY CAN CALRIFY FOR ME. I AM RUNNIG A NOVAK M2 ESC, HI-TEC SERVO AND A SPEKTRUM RADIO SYSTEM. THE ISSUE THAT I AM HAVING IS WHEN I PULL THE THROTTLE THE CAR WILL NOT RESPOND RIGHT AWAY OR WILL SOMETIMES JERK FOWARD THEN WILL EVENTUALLY RUN PROPERLY. WHILE IT IS JERKING I TRY TO TO THE WHEELS TO SEE IF IT IS AN ESC ISSUE OR A RADIO ISSUE AND THE WHEELS WILL NOT TURN. I CALLED HORIZON HOBBY TO ASK FOR ADVISE AND THEY ASKED WHAT THE LIGHT ON THE RECIEVER IS DOING. i ADVISED THAT IT IS SLOID WHEN RUNNING PROPERLY BUT BLINKS WHEN IT IS JERKING. THEY SAID THAT THERE MIGHT BE A LOSE OF POWER GOING TO RECIEVER AND THATS WHY ITS BLINKING AND JERKING. I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT IS THE PROBLEM BECAUSE MY POWER IS RAN THROUGH A CASTLE BEC TO THE RECIEVER AND THERE ARE L.E.D. LIGHTS ON THE NOVAK M2 ESC THAT ARE POWER FROM THE SAME SOURCE AND THEY DO NOT BLINK WHEN THE JERKING OCCURS. ANY IDEAS?

Here are a couple of things:

• What is the CCBEC voltage set at? From the factory it is set at 5.5V (might be 5V), recommend programming it for at least 6.5V.
• Where is the RX antenna running, is it near the ESC? This can cause that problem.
• PLEASE DO TYPE IN CAPS, THIS MEANS YOU ARE SHOUTING AND MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO READ.

+1 on the SHOUTING!
Also, please reread your post BEFORE posting, you "may" pick up spelling issues.

1-What rig is this?
2-What motor (winds & brushed or brushless)
3-Did you calibrate the ESC to the radio?
4-Does your steering work OK while you are having the throttle issue? (I "think" you are stating steering quits as well....not frikkin sure.....)

Sidenote: I REALLY hate running a BEC through a RX, I prefer running the BEC output direct to the steering servo.

Have you tried a different battery?
Are you SURE the battery is fully charged?
What kind of battery is it....NiCD, NiMH or LiPO?
If LiPO, is the LVC correctly setup on the ESC?

Nope, it's not. Just takes a couple of times being read to determine what is being said.

Waiting on the OP to reply back.
