Default sidewinder sct

ok burned up my rooster and put in a sidewinder sct in my crawler im running a brood 35t futaba 4pl with 5955 servo and castle bec

when i give it gental throttle the esc make the noise like its going to move nad it does not then a t full throttle it does an on, off throttle kind of thing were the wheels spin then stop and then spin again and it repeats and does it really fast everything is sodier correctly and the esc is brand new and just callebrated

what are your thoughts

try to run with stock calibrations and see how it does

it has allready been calibrated to the radio and the stock calibration it did the same thing i do have a castle link just a side note

is it set for brushed? stock it comes set for brushless

are your battery wires good? like their not faulty at all?

new batterys as well

i think maybe it might be the reciver because is was hooked up to the rooster when it let the smoke out aw well

oh well you said you had the motor calibrated to the radio so that would mean the receiver would be working. but you think it isnt so does that equal half working?

i tryed another reciver and a different radio and it does the same thing now im really wondering but i updated the esc with some different programing i hope it helps

figured it out i had to put the esc to brushed revers instead of brushless

Thats how I killed one of my sidewinders. Pay attention when you're swapping motors.

We only run brushed......but there was another issue....basically what the ESC starts out with for "factory defaults".......

All good now, at least for electronics.......
