Default electric problems...

Hi all
Can anyone help me please.....
I have got a cr-01 and it has been working great, but the last time i went out it wouldn't drive over a 3inch obsticle. It would drive up to an obsticle but the tire would not crawl/ pull the truck up. It would normally fly up but its as if the torque has gone. I noticed that the motor was roasting hot/ burnt finger hot. It would also drain a battery quickly.
My cr-01 has an mtroniks tio v2 esc, 55t hpi brushed motor, 3700 minh battery and 27mhz receiver
Things i have tried..... New fully charged batterys
27turn brushed motor
but it still has the same problem.... Can anyone one help

Remove the motor and make sure everything in the truck turns smoothly and freely.

What duuude said. and also maybe drop your pinion gear a few teeth. that will give it more torque than speed

Cheers Duuuuuuuude and twiztid metal for your help ;) I have taken the motor out and 3 out of the four wheels turn, but not very freely. Its quite hard to turn them and they only go forwards not reverse. The rear left is a lot harder to turn, as i tried it ragged the 12mm hex adaptor. When i turn the others wheels all four turn. Any more help/advice would be greatful cheers guys
