Default 4s or 35t?

With 3s, my 55t just doesn't have the wheel speed i see on videos of pros here.

I am running 2x sidewinder sct esc's (the 1/10 scale ones), I know castle says max 12.6v (3s), but can I push 4s with these esc's on brushed mode?

or should I just go with quality 35t's on 3s such as holmes?

Just swapping to a 35t will really put some wheelspeed to your rig. You can use 4s on the SW, but it does push the components pretty hard. I would recommend a faster motor instead of 4s on your ESCs. A 35t machine wound will be faster. A 35t handwound will be faster still. Just depends on your budget!

I ride mine every day. With gas around $4 per gallon it makes for cheap transport.

BMX bikes are ill suited to make ebikes IMO. Not comfy enough for long rides, not long enough to prevent wheelies, and not big enough to fit batteries easily! A 24 or 26" wheel dirt jumping bike makes a really nice conversion however. Just my opinion on the matter. I rode a bmx conversion for about two years.

Tis true. I used 16" moped (20" bmx is the same) wheels on my mtb dirt jumper for quite a while. I only switched back to mtb wheels because I had to drop from 18s to 12s lipo and I didn't want to give up all my speed.
