Tekin rs-pro 17.5 question

Im contemplating on dropping the coin for the RS-pro 17.5 setup. How well it run in my Losi Night Crawler on 2s? Im currently running the stock stuff on 2s at the moment. If i get it should I just do 3s? Any help would be appreciated!

I ran the RS-Pro with a 17.5 in my LCC for two years, no problem. I was using a 3S and a CC BEC to step down the voltage for the RX and servo.

(I had the Pro left over from modified TC racing, in my opinion it's overkill in the crawler and the RS would work the same and is a bit smaller. But it's your money.)

he Tekin RS would be great in your crawler. But like AreCee said, the RS Pro is overkill. The RS can handle down to a 5.5t motor and there isn't many people running those at all.

Yea, i know its overkill but for the 30 extra bux why not? Plus it may find its way into a faster platform down the road. So do you guys think the 17.5 would run ok on 2s for now?

my 17.5 runs ok on 2s, 3s does better though.

I don't think there is anything out there that 95% of people need the RS Pro for. I have a 3.5 motor and it scares me in everything I run it in. When it doesn't blow up tires that is.
