Default CC BEC fitted

I Wired up my CC BEC the way they suggest and i noticed my Hitec 7950 servo was slow and had a few second delay. If i disconnect the CC BEC the servo has no delay. What am i doing wrong?

What voltage are you running through the BEC and what Rx are you using? Also, did you disconnect the red wire from the ESC plug?

Did you hook the BEC up with the castle link and program your desired voltage in?

I am running 7.2v NiMh battery pack, running stock Tx with the Ax10 RTC. I have disconected the red wire. I will try it out again

Might want to change the setting for the BEC from stock, which is around 5.1 or so, to 6v. Need to use the Castle Link to do this tho, unless someone knows a different way. I've been doing a bunch of research here on the forums and that is one of the recommendations.

make sure you pull the red wire from the esc be very sure to do it. Also the stock cc bec is factory set at 5.1v you have to buy the 20 dollar programmer to bump it up to your desired voltage just dont do go higher than your output. make sure to pull the red wire if you dont it will be nothing but problems.

The TX WON'T program the ESC (other than exponential, etc), you need the castle link to change the ESC curves........you could also use the Castle software & a USB cable to change ESC programming.
