In "less expensive" motors, a lathe motor is "usually" better because of stronger magnets.

If you are driving for fun, get the lathe motor.
If you are comping, go for a better "rebuildable" Holmes or Brood. The upfront cost is killed by the fact you can rebuild (for fairly cheap) rather than replace.

You must be smoking the same crack Oso787 is?

Integy simply because they're rebuildable and not RC4WD crap motors.

I think it makes sense if you seperate the "Day" and "RC4WD" and seperate the "Good" and "RC4WD".

Like this:

Integy = Day <<<>>> RC4WD = Night

Integy = Good <<<>>> RC4WD = Not so good but it works

I know a guy who ran the rc4wd motors and was happy with their performance when they was new.They didnt perform that well for very long though. The integy motors are rebuildable,thats a huge benifite.even if you dont plan to cut the comm.,you can keep the motors clean,and that will help alot.A motor will perform better and run cooler if its kept clean.

I believe it qualifies as a stupid thread when somebody ask a question and I can go search, find mulitple threads, gather a wealth of information and form a well rounded opinion on the subject all in less than 5 min.

I looked at all the threads you've started and some of them qualify as stupid to me. That doesn't mean that they're stupid to you, right? It's all relative.

There's about two dozen stupid threads posted on RCC every day. You know what I do? Shake my head and move on.

I ran a 35T RC4WD motor in my Honcho...I liked it. I thought it performed fine. Plenty of speed with plenty of torque. Was I comping? No. I just crawl with friends around a home-made course. I cant give a opinion on the Integy though...I've never used one. Those of you who say the RC4WD is crap, have you run one? What issues did you run into with it to make you think its crap? I have to say too, I never took mine thru the mud or water...
