Default Battery wiring question---

I'm currently running 2S 800mah lipos on my rig b/c I think the biggest I can handle (size wise)...god that sounds wrong lmao...is a 2200mah. I'm thinking/wondering...can I wire the two 800mah together to get a total of 1600mah but still be 7.4? On my MERV I ran a couple lipos that were 2S wired into a Y connector then to the ESC and all was fine, but I wasnt sure if I can do the same with this? I just dont want it to be 4S lol.

someone just posted something like this just the other day. you need to wire in parallel. cut the plugs off and wire the 2 blacks together then wire the 2 reds together and solder. then run 1 short red and 1 short black off of your new connections so it will be 3 wires together all the same color same with the red and put your plug on your ready to go. i guess its like a y going to 1 plug

Thanks man! Thats what I was thinking but I wasnt sure if it would just end up being a 4S in essence or if I would end up running just a 2S with more run time.

And my next question... Can you safely charge both batteries at the same time with everything hooked up in parrallel? I have it wired so I can take everything apart easily, just be easier if I could keep them wired together.

use a parallel adapter so you can charge separately and balance separately, I would not permanently combine the two batteries. just my .02

I made a Y connector using two male connectors into a female so I can take everthing apart easily. I would rather charge the two wired together, but I wasnt sure if that would be safe? I just wasnt sure if the two would take a charge correct or if it would be like the "path of least resistance"? I plan on taking it apart to charge, just thought I'd get some opinions on safety wise. Thanks for the input though.
