Default what esc?

Hi I have a giant servo its a hitec hs5755 and I can't find a big enough esc to power it or thats what my local hobby shop said, so if a 14.4 volt esc with dual 7 cell nimh's wont do it what will. Granted I was still using the 550 motor for that esc but I only had one mottor hooked up. So any help or funny banter is appreciated thank you.

You just need to add an external BEC.

It sounds like your LHS are really on top of their game. Maybe stay clear with more tech related questions and use them as more a store and that's it.

That servo will run fine on any ESC. In a crawler, it won't. The ESC's internal BEC, which provides the current needed to the servo, is to low on most esc's for any servo in any crawler. We use the Castle Creations BEC. Do a search and you will find a bunch of info. More than I can give you.
