Default HobbyPartz Blue Lipo

Are these Lipos of a decent quality, or complete crap?

I've got some of the SKy ones that I use for bashing with my 8th scale stuff and have had good results thus far. Not any worse than Turnigy or what not.

The blue lipos are not as good as the Sky lipos they sell. About the same price but far better reviews for the skys. I love my skys! My one blue lipo has yet to be used as I am a little leary of it from reading up on them.

They seem to be decent. They are rather low-end lipos. If your application doesn't demand much t hey will be fine.

They are decent lipos, Turnigy seem to be better quality. Rhino have been good too. I'd use them and I'm running Turnigy in all my RC for last year or so.

I have been running 3s blue lipos and 4 s sky lipos and I am impressed with both for the price. I couldnt notice any difference from my 3S MaxAmps. They are fairly new though prob 10-15 charges so far. I charge them at 2 amps and they dont get warm at all. My sky lipos are rated at 40C. Blues are 25 i think. I would reccomend buying 4-5 sky lipos at the cost of 1 expensive brand.

I've got two blue lipos 3s and 4s. So far so good. About 30 charges through the packs with no issues. For the price, I dont think you can go wrong.

I do have two of the 4s 20c 1000mah Blues. I have about 5 charges on them and I get about 40 mins of crawlin time each. All's well so far. I also balance every time on my ac-6 and why not it's just one more plug.

Been using lipo for over 6 years and had about every brand imaginable. For the price the hobbypartz lipos can't be beat. I have 4 packs from them and they are perform better than any turnigy's I have ever had. Are the on par with hyperion or flightpower, no, but they are very good products. They are hands down better than any maxamps pack I have owned and less than 1/4 of the price.

If I was running a high speed high amp draw rig I would go for higher end packs, but for everything else they are great.

I have about 6-8 of the 3s 1300 mah I have been using for over a year in my comp crawler, and they have worked well. My only complaint is that the balancer wires tend to break at the solder joint. Easy enough to fix just a kind of a bummer for a battery with less then a year on it, but for 10 bucks I cant really complain.

You can always get away with cheap batterys. But once you go with high end motors, you'll quickly find the cheaper lipos just don't hold up.

I have been using these, both 2S and 3S with very good results. I get them from HeadsupRC, I have found them to be very customer oriented.
