| Installed a spektrum S100 and my truck is freaking out!
Picked up a spektrum s100 servo for cheap from a buddy and installed it on my clod. It is now glitching like CRAZY, cant even drive it :(. It started this right after I installed the servo so I am 99% sure that it is the cause. Jeeper_05 suggested that maybe my internal BEC was the problem and I installed a RX pack, and that didn't fix anything. Here is the rundown on my electronics. OLD Futaba 75mhz 2 channel TX Hitec mini RX (ran this combo for years) Super rooster 2x's 27 turn motors S100 servo I was running a JR sevo before and had no problems. I would really like to run this servo, but if I cant drive truck it isn't doing much good :(. Any other ideas? Would a 2.4 or even a 27mhz radio fix the problem? Thanks |

Unplug the servo from the receiver and fire up the rig and see how smooth the speed control responds to inputs. If it's nice and smooth chances are it's the servo, if it still glitches you know it's not the servo. Post back with what you find and we'll go from there. |

Sounds like your reciever might not like the radio noise your servo makes try a different reciever if you have one. Common problem for am radios, bet ya a 2.4ghz clears that right up |

I failed to mention it seemed to go away with the servo unplugged. I swapped it to a 27mhz radio set I have and it is completly gone. I will try the 75 stuff with a diffrent RX and see if that fixes it. I like my 75mhz radio, I have had it for 12 years! Thanks |
