What else does your truck have on it? Motor, esc, gearing, servo, has it worked before with this same setup? Have you had it in the water?

There is really no spot you can GREASE a motor....bearings or bushings should be oiled...nothing else would or should have grease on it.

Clean the grease out of the motor. See if it still does it. If it does test with the servo disconnected and see if it still twitches. maybe its time for a bec

+1, the grease may be your biggest issue, especially if it got on the comm (the copper colored "shaft" inside the motor) and/or the motor brushes.

What ESC??

Read the first post?.

crawlinnTN, you should clean the motor if possible, i would also look into getting a bec as the internal bec on that esc isn't the best.

X2 it could be the radio your using. At least check that out, and if it's ok then move back to the motor or esc to locate the problem.

2.4ghz tq3 I doubt would be an issue though anythings is possible
The old one with the great big eye poker and a thirst for 8 aa batteries on the other hand would be a likelly culprit....common problem
Aside from that I dunno
