| Tekin Rebel 2??
Hey guys there is a scx10 im looking at with a tekin rebel 2 esc and was seeing what you guys thought of it. Seeing how reliable it was and how good it would be for a scx10. I know it's a preety old ESC but wondering if I could run this fine in the scx10 or if it should get an upgrade. Thanks in advance |

I have one and ran it in my ax10 for a bit. Its a pretty big esc but it makes some good power. It can be ran on 3s. The only issue I see is that it doesnt have a lipo cutoff so you will need to buy a lipo cutoff or a lipo alarm if you run lipos. It never got hot while i was running it on 3s with a novak 55t

Alot of us ran Rebel's back in the day. It has no drag brake or lipo cutoff but it has a fairly good bec on board and instant reverse. It will work for you but with the price hovering around 40 for a used Sidewinder you might want yo go that route. That will give you drag brake and lipo cutoff and also allow for brushless use. |

I guess it depends on how good of a deal you are getting on the truck really, and what you plan on doing with it.
