Default winch controller 2 or 3 position TX switch with variable speed. New solution found

I have been searching around for a small, tested and specifically design winch controller. This could be it for those needing to run a winch on a DX3s.
The controller is also variable speed, a plus for those 3s people.
The controller uses relays to switch the power to the winch rather than through it. http://www.valley-electronics.co.uk/...?productID=965

What other winch controllers are there?
Other than using the insides of a servo.

How will this work for the 3s?...check out heyok he has some winch elecs.

If I wanted variable speed I'd get a cheap hobbypartz esc

Thanks, I totally forgot about Heyok, HeyOK's RC Electronics items (all in one place)

It works for 3s because it plugs into the receiver and the power that you want to run to your winch taps into the module and the is relay'd out to your winch.

I still don't understand how it works with a 2 pos switch...what you linked is basically a small esc, and it used mosfets not relays

In the ebay listing it had a customer ask if could run on 2 pos sw and they said they have a wiring diagram to do that, but when I asked they said no.
It seemed cool.
Anyway, yours is smaller, cheaper and proven.
