| http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTYY7&P=7 Not sure if they really get more in, but they might. The Orion is basically the same thing.....Trinity also made a unit that was similar. Those are the only three I really liked......some chargers had features to do it, but they often lacked the more advance stuff. I did use the GFX a lot because it could handle up to 20 amps.....I still use my two Yokomo units (the digital and analog), but they are extremely hard to find.....I like em because as they are best for testing faulty motors and such. For a powersupply, basically any RC type power supply will work. I have about 5 different I use through the shop. I use my much more power supplies for portable....I wish I would of gotten one of the Trinity I-Power, but never got one before they discontinued it.....things are pretty ballin though. | Quote: Great way to go. It has motor driving and hot wire features, so it breaks in motors and powers lathes very well. | |
