What do you think about the radio now that you've had it a few days? I'm gonna order one Friday.

He's been happy (he is at work so I'll chime in.....) with it. Easier than his older model to set up & it does more.
As a bonus, he can reuse all his RX's!!"thumbsup""thumbsup"

I love this radio. Very budget friendly, and has all the basic needs of any crawler.

EPA's, sub-trim, 3 pos 3rd, 20 model memory, etc. Plus it only requires 4 AA's to power it.

Not sure exactly what Spektrum had in mind for them, but if you want something to use the black discs for that's actually useful, put them concave side up under the front tires of your crawler while you set up the steering end points.
The wheels won't drag on the floor so you can see exactly how far the steering servo is moving and you don't have to try to hold the crawler in one hand and adjust the radio with the other.
