Default Nomadio React + 2 micro sidewonders + dig woes

Hey there guys iam in need of some help.

i just recently made the switch from a punk dig and mamba max pro in my xr to 2 micro sidewinders and a nomadio react radio. both my esc's are calibrated to the radio.

heres how my xr10 is setup

react radio
dsm 1 spektrum rx 3 channel
2 cc micro sidewinders (both running v1.24 firmware)
cc bec wired directly to servo
team brood 35t motors
14 tooth pinions front and rear

heres my problems

1) my rear tires are turning slower than my front tires?

2) when i go to do a front dig it my rear tires dont lock up all the way.
but everything works ok when i do rear dig.

3) when i turn my radio on is asks if i want to run beta mode and i accept cause iam running DSM1 RX. but on the main screen it says beta demo.

is that something i should worry about?

heres my settings on the radio

throttle (channel 2) front esc

Trim - 0
Dual Rate - 60
Throttle expo - 0
Brake expo - 0
Sub trim - 0
Brake End point - 190
Throttle end point - 190

dr mode - both

throttle (channel 3) rear esc

Trim - 0
Dual Rate - 60
low end point - 125
high end point - 190

Dr mode - both
reverse- -off
type - digital
mode - throttle/brake
steps - 2

soft keys

grip soft key
ch3 dual rate
setting value

wheel soft key
thr trim
adjusting value

t1 soft key
steering trim

t2 soft key
nothing

t3 soft key

t4 soft key

please help

Thnaks for your time guys and gals

but everything works ok when i do rear dig. Check my settings below

3) when i turn my radio on is asks if i want to run beta mode and i accept cause iam running DSM1 RX. but on the main screen it says beta demo. Beta DSSS was only a demo when they stopped making these radios.
Here are the settings from my front/rear steer dual ESC super (Ch4 is my rear servo, so that wont apply to your truck):

Well, I would use mine as a guide, but set up the soft keys how you like. Also, pay close attention to the "DR Mode" and "type" selections....

I think you're having issues with your expos only being at 60. Or you might be losing some throttle. Duplicate Jeremy's and then re-calibrate your ESC's. I am running a react with micro pros(or at least have in the past) and never had issues. I would be happy to send you a profile if you continue to have issues.

Are you getting Green LEDs with forward throttle on both ESCs? Do they both shine solid instead of blinking?

What the reason for the rear endpoints being different?

throttle (channel 3) rear esc

Trim - 0
Dual Rate - 60
low end point - 125
high end point - 190

I have a feeling that will make your rear esc only see full throttle (or brake) as appx 75%-80% of what your front esc is set at since it is set to 190. I would put all 4 of those values to 100 (or 190 in your case) and recalibrate real quick. Front esc epas and rear esc epas I mean.

If all the programming and mixing is "correct", it may be small differences in the motors that are causing the slight speed difference.

Do you have a tach? It would be easiest to just apply a constant voltage to each motor and set the timing to get the speeds even.

Now wait a second, sounds like you have some expo hiding in there on the ESC or the radio. Not motor issues.

I am running a React and Mamba Micro Pros. Matched 40T broods.

My rear motor runs a bit faster than the front aswell. I want it setup like this for a front overdrive effect to improve turning and lessen the rear driving under the front on verticals.

To get them to run even I just adjust my dual rate on the 3rd channel. about 80% runs them evenly.

i think i have found my problem.

all of my esc setting are the same except for the throttle curves. i never mess with them and or look in there so it never dawned on me to check. till Jeremy said to make sure everything was the same.

Thank you very much Jeremy and every one for all the help.

now my rear tires start just a tad sooner than the front.

this is excalty what i just did. i toned my 3rd channel dual rate down to around 90%. and it works great.

your right my front esc throttle curve was WAAAAYYYYYY different than my rear. i have no clue how it got like that but it did. i matched it to my rear esc throttle curve and presto. now they run very close to insync.

That will do it! On trucks that run dual ESCs, I like to save the throttle/brake curves as a file and apply that file to both ESCs....that way I KNOW that they are the same.

Glad you got it worked out.
