BOTH the gt3b and gt3c need to be calibrated. to enter it, just after power up (or the main screen where voltage is shown), turn the wheel max clockwise and press LONG-enter

Hey guys I have a hacked gt3b its worked well up untill yesterday. When i turned it on my winch started to spool out. I have 8 channels Im running 3 of them, my winch is on momentary set to the channel three trim slidder. Anyways I have tried a global reset and a model reset. After the reset I programed as follows; long enter on "rev" then I scroll to "3" hit enter. scroll to channel three enter. Then scroll to mo enter. then leave re at 0, hit enter. then pv to 1, hit enter. exit programing....... When I push trim 3 button it goes to negative 100 and stays there if i push oppisite direction it moves to positive 100, but when i let off the button it goes back to negative 100. I cant seem to figure out if im doing something wrong or if my tx is messed up.

Just an update for everyone. This was cause due to user error. I figured out that pv and re are to be left alone. So problem solved.

hi all

hope i'm not in the wrong place to aski this question

i was trying to calibrate my gt3b with my tekin RS esc
the funny thing is, the esc won't recoqnize my throttle the way it should
it recognized my reverse/brake as my forward
and my forward as my reverse/brake

is this normal?

Did you try reversing the throttle channel (ch2)?

I am trying to set up two sidewinder micros, the rear axle works fine and the mixing works, but the front axle has no power to it ; any ideas?

SO far I followed these steps...

-Long click rev
-scroll to 3, press enter
-scroll to DIG press enter (selects the DIG function)
-Scroll to MOM for momentary press enter (the switch uses momentary control, this will be for instant dig)
-(because its mom it skips step rate)
-Choose NOR for now, change later if you want to reverse the way it controls it
-(it skips opposite reset)
-choose PRV (this will return the channel back to your previous mix rate, in stead of an even mix mix)
-(It skips Rotate)
-Hold enter (to exit out)
-Back (to save)

So

-Long click REV
-Choose d
-Choose dig
-Choose RES (so a long click will reset to center, theres many options)
-Select your mix% step rate, i like 10 or 20
-Choose NOR for now
-Choose NOO
-(skips pre val)
-(Skips rotate)
-Long enter
-Back

1-I have templates for firmware 0.4 (?).....both momentary & locked in this thread.
2-Did you calibrate the ESC's to the RX?
3-If you did the ESC calibration, try powering the motor direct off a battery pack (I would disconnect 1 motor wire first) to make sure the motor runs.

I'm currently running dual Sidewinder Micros on a locked template with 5% propo steps.

escs are calibrated. let me elaborate. i can get everything to work except for ch2 . if i get the front esc and plug in ch3 it works with mixing and dig if i get the rear esc and plug it into ch3 it works with mixing and dig. if i plug either into ch2 its a no go.

So, anyone know where to get a replacement trigger for the radio? We were on vacation this past week and someone else using the radio broke off the reverse part. So, now I just have a small stub for reverse and regular forward.

The supplied templates for dual ESC are TX firmware. Different firmware requires a slightly different firmware.

The templates I use/posted have the firmware listed as well.

can you post a post number so i don't have to sift, I'm not following at all , sorry.

I can't get into the mixing setting for channel 2 it skips over 2 and goes from 1 to 3 .

I am now trying to update the firmware but do not know what version to pick.

The template for momentary is one of the 1st posts in this thread.

I use 5% steps, much better in my eyes.

OK how do I know what firmware I have and how do I change it over.

On the Mixing setting are you supposed to be able to access ch2 or is it supposed to go from ch1 to ch3?

After following these instructions I came to the same result , ch2 esc will not link up , ch 3 works perfect with all settings , if you put the front esc on ch3 it works if you put the back esc on ch3 it works , when you plug the front esc into ch2 it wont link up , when you put the back esc in ch2 it won't link up , I have tried swapping out receivers with the same result.
