Are you 100% sure 6.1 loaded into the radio? because it should show you all the channels available after d , maybe losikid will chime in

I have my xr10 running with dual esc and a GT3b. If I let it sit the rear motor will give a little snap all by itself every minute or so. No real issue while driving or anything, just the odd glitch when idle. anyone else seen this with the GT3B or should I be blaming the ESC. (brand new sidewinder micro)

It could be the ESC....not sure.

I have the same set-up, no issues that I've seen.

I'm assuming you calibrated both ESC's to the RX? Which dual ESC template are you running....the locked or momentary?

Also, which firmware is in the TX? I have the 0.4.1 (?).

I have seen the same thing with my TF2 w/HH BR-XL and GT3B, It will kind of make a small jump when left setting, without touching the radio. Mine does it only once and not all the time. You wouldn't know it happened unless you are close enough to hear it or see it jump. I have no idea why!

That sounds exactly like mine. I have 0.6.1. I have momentary front dig on the 3ch button, proportional on the 3rd channel d/r and front and reverse momentary dig on the 3rd channel trim. I am thinking of switching the 3ch button itself to reset proportional, but I find it easier to hit while driving then the thumb trim switch for that often used front dig.

I am not overly concerned about it. Especially now that others have seen it with out any major issue.

I was going to calibrate the ESC's, but i tried following the directions, and I don't have a voltmeter.

You don't need a voltmeter to calibrate an ESC, I think you're looking at calibrating the TX.

This is what you need... http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...s_ed_guide.pdf

Uh, I followed the calibration steps for the ESC, and now they stopped working...

TX on
full throttle
plug in battery, ESC beep and show red.
full reverse, they tone and show yellow
neutral, get tone again,
then try to use it, and no response....

Yeah working great now. I think it has more top end now to. Had to set my rx failsafe again, which was weird. Gonna let it sit, see if it glitches again.

0.6.1 is the latest and greatest, faster, added timers, new user interface, etc.

GT3c is the new gt3b...

I'm wondering which is the appropriate version of the firmware to download, given my needs.

I only need 3 channels, but would like stuff like proper expo, servo speed, low voltage adjustment and all the other glitch fixes.

This is just going on my trail truck, so no need for 63 model memory, etc.

Thanks.
