Yup, way high. Set them the same as my wraith setup and its perfect now. Not sure why it was messing up channel 1, dont remember it doing that when i setup the other one.

For you guys running the new gt3c how long is your battery life? I was thinking I may mod the tray to accept regular 1s lipos so I could have a spare or two with me, has anybody done that?

don't see a need to really. can't really tell you the battery life as i've never run it down, but a full day of running and a few nights of tuning. granted that's with the 1300mah battery, but go out and play, plug in when you get home. i take my packs out before i put it in the case. honestly the gt3c battery system is good, never had a contact or low battery issue on mine.

going to break my cardinal sin rule here and double post. had the power button issue a couple times, ended it last night. simple switch behind the steering wheel column, out of the way and still can do easy one handed binding (one of my favorite things about the c for some reason). it isn't pretty, but can't argue with results.

I can't comment on this, because i can't let my lipo voltage drop below 3.5v because i'll start loosing connection (running a frsky module)...and i've never had it turned on for more than 3 hours before recharging.

it should last you a days worth of crawling...you can always get a quick charge (1 amp) phone charger and charge it too if you have 12 hour long bash sessions, it'll take less than an hour to charge a 800.

Or pick up some spares on ebay for ~$7...i plan on stocking the iT4 batteries, 1200mah, but i was told i have to wait to order those separately

well, if ya got em i'm sure i can make it work in that location as long as the body profile is low enough.

and i'm a nut about double posting in rapid succession, i've pulled 6 edits on a post before getting all the info in there this switch is about as cheap as they come, wouldn't have been my first choice if it wasn't for the fact i have about 5 of em sitting around for some reason.

EDIT: i'd give up lefty for a green one, love the color!

shoot me a dimension on the body height when installed into a housing at some point, my switch barely fits, so if its much more than that, it would be a no.

EDIT: make it easy, height on mine is 1/4" total height un-installed

So I got a gt3c for Christmas, and I'm gonna run it for a bit ( if I can solve my motor esc issues) and I searched but can't find a pic of the power switch mod. Coud someone post up a pic or link for me?

Also, any tips/tricks I should be aware of?

Ordering a hack kit today as well.

Cheers.

There's two wires going to the current powerswitch....just cut those off, then solder them to a new switch.
