I would read the first two post in this thread started by user "losikid".
In the second post, near the begining, look under 'HACKS" and there is a link called "Video on how to hack", watch that.

If your not good with soldering and taking apart radios etc. I think losikid still does hacks for people. He has a website at Home - OverkillRC
You can also buy the hack kits there if you want to do it yourself.

Just thought I'd show my off course repair at today's comp...

1st course just past gate 8 my gt3c power switch failed and this ghetto repair got me through the day For those worried about the switch issue, getting at it through the steering assembly was a breeze.. in the rain on the passenger seat of my pickup. Now to find a mini switch for the official repair.

My proto type is still running on the factory switch...i wonder what changed between the proto and the production versions, they appear the same to me.

I should, have switches for sale soon...well, maybe

It seems like the wires should be anchored near the solder joints at the connector and switch as the switch/wires/wheel move together. Maybe yours has more solder or hot glue around it?

i put hot glue on mine when it first went, eventually the glue let go and i did the relocation. i think the switch is destined to fail at some point. granted, both times the factory switch failed i was doing steering system testing with the savox 1268 which meant very rapid movement.

Same here with the rapid wheel movement. Trying to wheel wiggle off of an obstacle.

I've got the gt3b and finally put dual esc's on the hustler. I've followed the instructions for setting up the dig on 6.1 firmware and it works perfect in reverse. Channel 2 and 3 is not reversed and the crawler drives like it always has pulling the trigger back and it goes forward and pushing the trigger forward and it goes in reverse. The dig is the only thing that appears to be out of place. Like I said it works flawless in reverse but does nothing in forward. From what I'm reading I think I should just calibrate my radio. Is that it or is there something that I missed in programming the radio.

I doubt you need to calibrate the radio.
Bind the RX to the TX?.....yes.
Calibrate the ESC's to the RX?.....yes.

I'm not running 6.1 firmware yet, so I can't help there. Sorry.

Driving the crawler with out dig forward and reverse work like they are supposed to. The dig is set to momentary so im driving the crawler forward I press and hold the (CH 3 trim i beleive) forward to lock the front axle however the axle doesn't lock. Let's say now that I didnt let go of the dig button but reverse the direction of the crawler now the front axle is locked. Alright now let's say I put the dig switch to the rear to lock the rear axle and the crawler is going forward. Once again the rear axle doesn't lock but still holding the dig button in the same position and change the direction of the crawler to reverse now the back axle locks.

Ok after re scanning a lot of this thread I found out I was on 5.0 so I went to 6.1 and reset my dig functions still the same issue. However after some playing I went to trim box and set channel 2 to B99. The axles dont lock to the point they cant move but they do lock enough for the dig to function properly and for the crawler to still drive properly when dig is not engaged. Maybe this can be attributed to my motors timing being 6 degrees advanced Im not sure just a thought. Losikid thanks for all the work you have put into this remote and the hack kits.

Just a quick, dumb question... once you've hacked a GT3B/C the stock FlySky Rx will still bind to the Tx correct? I know that's a dumb question, but I'd rather ask a dumb question than assume and be wrong. lol....
