This might explain my dilemma. From what you are saying there a 3 versions of 4.1 firmware, 3ch, 6ch and 8ch. As I was not the one to flash my tx, is there a way to tell which version I have

Ok , well I asked the guy I bought the tx from and he tells me that it is installed with the 3ch 4.1 fw so I guess I can't run duel esc's and duels steer at the moment, oh well still digging the duel esc setup (pun intended) guess I might have to reflash it at a later date.

You can run dual of both if you put a Y harness on but you won't get the overdrive/under drive and 1:1 on the servos with no crabbing and such.

Ok, I got my second esc in (an axial ae-2) and the duel esc mixing works a treat. But I've noticed that I have to dial in 20% rear trim on ch2 (front axle) to find a neutral point. Could this be because at the moment I have miss matched esc's (my other one is the stock esc from a redcat rs10)? I do plan on getting another ae-2 but finances atm stopped me from buying 2.

I'd say that's the issue, Miss matched ESCs.

did you calibrate the esc's at the same time at 0% mix?

I did them individually, should I do them together?

That may just be fixing "clod stall", I run a bit of proportional on my dual ESC to fix it, I don't use trim.

You can calibrate either way, just make sure:
Throttle trims to "0"
Throttle EPA's to "100%"
Throttle mix to "0"

I usually calibrate both my ESC's at once, but either way works.

Hey guys, what's the best way to open the steering wheel assembly of the GT3C?

I want to snip those guides, but I dont know how to open it up without breaking the assembly.

Thanks!

There's two screws connecting the assembly to the main housing of the transmitter. And three screws behind the wheel to open up the assembly itself, look through the wheel. For one, you may have to turn the wheel slightly.

hey dude. my gt3b is modded, and works well, but has recently been saying low voltage all the time. like fown to 7.5v on a 3s lipo. is this normal?

when plug tha battery into charge it read full charge.

usually these batteries last months without needing a charge in the TX. now it last about 10 minutes.

I wish there was a way to organize this thread somehow. It seems like a lot of the questions asked have already been asked a hundred times. I realize some are specific to people, but there are so many repeats! There's no way somebody would read through 130 pages to find an answer. The search button is a tool I wish people would use more, but even a simple search yields a LOT of results. I have no solution for this problem, just a statement. One can not even begin to organize this Monstrous thread.

Imo its really up to the person who requires the information to seek it out. losikid and other knowledgeable users are kind enough to be helpful again and again and again and again. If it takes an evening to skim/search this morbidly obese, monstrosity of a helpful thread then so be it. Things taste better when it takes awhile to make it, instant gratification isn't all its cracked up to be.
