No.

Try getting a couple remote switches and wiring them in reverse to your esc power switches. Although you'd have to run some type of bec to constantly power the rx's. Tap a button and one goes off, the other goes on.

Or much easier/cheaper... Use traditional power switches and just walk over and flick it.

Hi I just hacked my GT3b and can't get Ch2 to work. My ESC won't calibrate with the radio. I have tried two different firmware and they both done the same thing. Please help.

Can a momentary mix be activated with the 3rd channel button? Say like 4WS while pushed and only front when not?

I've searched til my eyes are bleeding. If I missed I'm sorry. My granddaughter & I would like to be able to turn 4WS on & off with the D/R switch or the Ch3 trim switch. Can someone post a template for this? P.S. I am using Ch 3 for turning lights off & on. No dual ESCs; No Dig involved here. Thanks guys. The rear servo in in channel 5. I'm confused at to setting these up as switches, etc.
Thanks guys this is SOOOOO fun. we're having a BLAST!

I think the only "official" source anywhere is LosiKid.

I could be incorrect though.....

What do you mean by on/off? The template I posted on page 139 will switch from front-only, front and rear, or rear only via the Ch3 Trim. The Ch3 button switches between crab and no-crab. So just leave out the steps for dual esc's (anything using the "d" button) and anywhere that I have just a 4, you use 5 (except the 1st time).... If I understand your setup....

E. Point; long Enter
4; Enter
5; long Enter
End
Rev; long Enter
3; Enter
4WS; Enter
BEN; Enter
100v; long Enter
Rev; long Enter
C; Enter
4WS; Enter
MO0,RE0,PV0,4WSv; long Enter
End
End

I think... had a cpl and I've slept since I've tried this. Let me know how it goes.

As to programming, are you running the 0.4 or 0.6 firmware??

For dig, the basic is:
Pick a switch on the TX
Set for 3 position
Set one way +100, the other way to -100, middle = 0

Some of the programming steps are similar to dual ESC with dig & proportional, you just are not mixing 2 throttle channels.
It was definitely the servo. Got a new one yesterday and so far have been able to set the end points but can't figure out how to program the three position on the ch 3 trim switch. A for dummies step by step would be awesome. .6 firmware. Thanks

I have a big issue with GT3B and hopefully someone know what to do (Have googled my issue without any luck)
I have a MOA (Berg)
I use 2 * Hobbywing Esc.
When i connect the escs to the receiver and calibrates them, the motor connected to ch 2 goes forward automaticly. as if i have to high value on trottle trim, if i lower it the motor goes down in rpm, but not to zero.
If i brake the motor stops and goes into reverse.
The steering works great.
This issue i have had also on a Novak rooster esc.
Anyone that can help me?
I shall also add that the TX/RX is brand new and the TX is original (Will hack it in the future)

Not sure the stock GT3B does dual ESC mixing.

Regardless, when you calibrate ESC's, you need to:

-Set throttle EPA's to 100%
-Set throttle trims (and subtrims) to "0"
-Futaba radios need the throttle channels set to "reverse"
-Then calibrate the ESC's

It helps to have the same ESC's running the same firmware in a dual ESC set-up.

PS, if the stock GT3B does not do dual ESC mixing, choices are:

-Hack it
-Contact LosiKid for a WantAmix
-Contact HeyOK for his dual ESC controller

Hacking is the cheapest route since you already have the radio.

i just got another hacked gt3b (thank you) and was wondering if i can save and transfer the settings from my old one to the new one?

my intention is to use it as a backup for my comp rigs in case the primary one gives the ghost.

Um, yea

If i remember correctly, plug in your current controller, click read --> all tabs
Then unplug that radio and plug in the new one then press program --> all tabs

You may have to save the data you read, close out of stvp, and then open it up....but this may be tricky i can't remember, its been along time since i've saved/transferred settings.

thanks, i'll look into it. i got kinda lost last time i updated the firmware but i managed to figure it out. if thats too tricky for my thick head to figure out i can always do it manually. i only have about 3 or 4 rigs i want to have backed up anyway.

will it keep the binds?

No, when you bind the rx remembers the tx....so if you change tx's you'll need to rebind
