I'm sure this is in here somewhere but... I need a few more RX's. I have read they must be V2 type. Will these rx's bind up and work with my hacked gt3b?

Hobby King GT-2 2.4Ghz Receiver 3Ch

Hobby King 2.4Ghz Receiver 6Ch V2

I'm not seeing an 8ch version of this. But I do see this
Turnigy 9X 2.4GHz 8Ch Receiver (V2)

So will these all work or do I need to find something else?

Hi! Seems like something happened to your website, can´t access firmware archive and the link in "install instructions" to sttoolset.exe doen´t work either.

Now it´s working again!

DID I FRY MY RADIO? So it worked fine before i flashed it now it wont turn on.

(from the install instructions...These arrows need to be on the SB1 side on your programmer, and towards the BND button on the gt3b side...it’s also the black wire.)

I fallowed all the steps. I think I know how to solder. I put the arrows where they are supposed to go on the harness when i flashed it.
STVP
said
"error. cannot communicate with the device ! check the SWIM cable connection and check all the needed pin connectors on the SWIM connector"
I checked the harness and pins and noticed that on one end of the harness the arrow points to the green wire all the way to one side. On the other end the arrow points to the red wire on the complete opposite side. HMM i thought. Tried disconnection and re connecting all wires, made sure remote worked, and restarted computer. Still nothing. Same error msg. So I turned the connector over on the remote side. Success or so I thought. It gave me all the good indicators at the bottom msg area. And even said it was successful but now the radio wont turn on.

Any Thoughts?

A.) You're using an OLD install manual....I should just delete that file to avoid this....

B.) You didn't open the firmware before you pressed program....do what you did again but make sure to open the firmware file when you're in stvp

Hi
I hacked my radio last night with 0.6.1 firmware, it seems like mixing is on, with my current dig switch i need the third channel to be working as just on/off.
i can hear the relay switching when i start to drive forward, thats why i belive there is some kind of mixing activated.

Was looking at the template to assign DIG mix to channel 3
Scroll to E.point, LONG enter
Scroll to d,
my radio shows d OFF

Is it me thinking wrong as usual?

Managed to figure this out, the 3ch button was off, choosing c and assign it to ch3 made it work as i wanted it to =)

I would just do an archive folder, old manuals & firmwares would go there. This would help someone that does not want to go to new firmware (for whatever reason).

MOA Dual esc, brushless with sensor
Front engine goes forward, Back engine goes backward.
When i try to reverse the back engine it goes to full trottle reverse.

Have done it 2 ways.
Caibrated it in Ch2 and then move the cable to ch3.
And now, with the tx hacked in ch3.
But still same problem.
If i put it in reverse on channel3 the engine goes backwards.
And if i try to go to the EPA the engine goes the same direction but much faster.

You have to setup Dual ESC mixing in the controller....turn DIG mix on, and setup your switches.

Sounds like your mix isn't turned on

Now i got it to work, for a short period. When i am about to trim the EPA on ch3 the rear motor goes nuts and goes to full Speed. And after a while the dig wont work.
Even if I am in normal mode the dig is random. Every 3-4 times when i push the trottle i get a delay in one of the axles. it is totaly random.

Make sure to get your bearing upgrade kit from OverkillRC. I have it and it's to date (knock on wood) been kid resistant.

Hey, on another note. I've been looking for another GT3C and the usual sources seem to be out of them. Looks like street price is around $60-$65, but can't find one to buy. Anyone know where to look?

LosiKID, do you have anymore?
