This is how I used to have it set up on v4.1

ch3 will swap between 4ws and crab

ch3 trim will go between rear steer(left), 4ws(mix)(center) and front steer(right)

sub menu EPOINT (4) to channel 4, 0%, NOC sub menu rev 3 4WS, NOL, 100%, NOR, NOO sub menu rev C 4WS, SWI, NOR, NPV, OFF

Steering Front is plugged into Channel 1 Steering Rear is Plugged into Channel 4

Why not buy whole kit and put together yourself?

+1..... OP, by the time you spend shipping to OverKillRC with your radio and then shipping of a hacked radio back to you, you would likely lose any savings.
If you want a hacked GT3B, I would just get a hack kit and do it yourself.

That's providing OverKillRC would even do the swap.

Well atleast you are honest..... It really takes about a couple hours total to do all of the mod, after you have done a few. Prolly a day first time. Doubtful that Austin will even swap ya due to cannot be trading out for used and broken tx. He sells new ones that are hacked, not used ones.

I used to (between running a servo dig then going to dual ESC's & a WantAmix), never got it to do what I wanted smoothly. It sounds like you can make them work well, but it's involved requiring settings in the ESC as well as the TX.
PS, once you get it set, if you recalibrate the ESC you have to redo all the settings again.

I don't recommend the M2 Dig as an ESC, but try it if you have it.

Nope....Price is the same regardless if you send me your old controller or not. Because i'll just toss it and send you a new one.

Just curious how I would go about setting the gt3b for controlling the 3 speed transmission in a Tamiya High-lift.

What firmware version?

A 2 speed trans sounds like you need a 3 position switch set, center is 2nd gear, each endpoint are 1st & 3rd.

hay guys, I dare say this has been covered a few times, however I hacked my gt3c yesterday, and after a day of searching i am a little confused. I want to set up 4ws which I have got working some how, however I want to select front steer or rear steer or 4ws/crab, now I can set crab or steer by switching the direction of one of the servos. i am just a little confused how to set the steering up.

I did rear the manual, but it went over my head a little lol

Picked up the remote for the first time in months, and I've done it again. Messed up a setting I shouldn't have. Turned on crab walk, and now somehow pulling back on trigger turns rear wheels left, pushing on trigger turns them right AND engages reverse. Front wheels turn normally with steering wheel. Been to long and don't remember how to fix.

Ok so I have had a play and got it to switch between crab and no crab off the ch3 button, now I just need to get it to switch between front or rear or both. Can any one offer any help?

Ah I see, so its possible that ch3 trim will already set up for front or back! Ill have a play in a bit! Does it need the trim to go all the way left/right?
