A majority of rx's aren't hv. Run them all at 5-6v to be safe. And easy practice is always let the esc power the rx (that's all most are good for anyway) and power the devices with bec's. Don't forget to star ground it all back to the rx |

Ah, now I see that my Tekin FXR's built in BEC is rated at 6v, so I can run it off the ESC. Cool. What do you mean "star ground"? |

The idea is to ground everything back as close as possible to the source, in this case the internal bec of the esc.

Do you just mean to keep everything close to the BEC? In other words, don't run long wires? Sorry if I'm being dense here...

| Naturally one would want wires as short as needed. Placing things physically closer and grounding are two different things. Yes electrically ground all your devices back to the rx, which in my scenario is where the esc's bec is... Which is the main power source for the rx and your electrical system, the lipo pack.

hey losikid I have a gt3b that I hacked myself and it worked great for about 8 months until one day I left it on for a couple days till the batteries died in it. now it has pixels that don't work anymore and it's getting worse to the point that I can't read the screen anymore. any suggestions?

And if the latest revision of the gt3c fixes the power button issue then they won't have any faults besides the firmware. From what i've seen, the 3c had a better build quality, is lighter, and better ergonomics (imo)
