I believe you may be referring to the manual.

Here is the download site provided by overkillrc.com

Index of /GT3B/GT3B-Firmware
That is the one I am downloading. I go to 0-6-1/ > gt3b-0.6.1.s19 > click on it then it asks to save or open gt3b-.0.6.1.man? Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I keep saving it to desktop or downloads. Then when I go to file > open with STVP I do not see it.
I am on Win 7 pro 32bit. Thanks for the link and the suggestion.

Looks like it's being saved as a "*.man" file, not a "*.s19" file extension. Since the ending of the file is wrong, STVP can't see it.

So how would one correct this? Do I just switch the file extension before saving it?

I tried saving a few different ways, the file extension always changes.

I would wait for someone else to chime in, I don't want to "break" your TX.

All you have todo is rename the file extension...kinda weird its not saving right for you though. Are you right or left clicking? You should be right clicking and then click save as.

It used to be where it had to be saved as a .txt then once on the computer it could be renamed as a .s19

It does the same thing for me, right or left clicking. I wasn't sure it would work correctly if the extension was changed, thought it would be OK but not sure.

I tried the file you emailed me jaloos and received an error. So I tried to download the file again, then changed the extension to *.s19 and all was well after that. I tried with right and left-clicks earlier and it would change the extension everytime. I did it with a right-click this time. All loaded up and ready to go lol. Thanks guys.

Is it possible to reset prior to the calibration part? I feel like I didn't let the numbers steady enough and didn't have my battery fully charged. It read 3.8V, is that what a fully charged battery reads?

Hold your wheel max clockwise, then press and hold enter.
That will take you back into the calibration menu

A fully charged 1s pack will be 4.2 volts.

The LiPo voltage range per cell is

3.2v dead
3.8v storage
4.2v max charge

Glad it worked out for ya.

I guess it is because I am a newb and haven't done this before, but I am having issues programming my third channel for my winch on my GT3C. I had it set the first time, but it seemed like it reset after that. I think I set it to the channel 3 trim, but now when I try to use it, it just goes into a menu to change something(not sure what, really). Don't suppose someone can give me a walkthrough of how to set my trim or D/R switches to operate my winch? I'd prefer it be non-momentary so I have to hold it as I work the winch.

Have you tried plugging in a winch or servo into that channel to see if it's working correctly?

Here is a how to video for the three position switch.

Does the Hack kit effect the life of the controller itself? Does this increase the likeliness of glitching and product failures?
