But look at the 9XR. It has an ISP port accessible from outside the case specifically for changing the firmware. And if it was purely monetary they would be better off using the same chip in everything. The... what is it... 328? Whatever it is, it can handle anything we could ever need on the ground or in the air and they're dirt cheap. Just doesn't make sense to me, but I'll work with what I have.

| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread Yes, but if they're already buying the AVRs, is it enough cheaper to offset the economy of scale? Well, obviously, or we'd be using USBISPs ;) Any idea if this thing: FlySky FS-GT3 2.4G 3CH Gun Transmitter for RC Cars, Trucks and Buggy Uses similar guts? I'd love to be able to throw an Orange module in it and use the super cheap Lemon receivers. It might even be worth it to find the encoder output on the GT3B/C and send it to a new module just for those receivers. I've had 3 DOAs out of a couple of dozen, and 2 of those were due to a bad part, which they told me about before they even made it to my mailbox. All were replaced or refunded with zero hassle, and the rest have been 100% reliable in the air. |

Hey I tried searching the thread but I am not having any luck. I am wanting to use a 6ch in a summit. I have everything working like I want but I can't figure out how to set up the dual steering servo thing. I am wanting to use channel 3 for this. I need them to be together as the two servos are physically linked together. And I would rather not one of them tied into a button I can accidentally push and mess them up. If someone can tell me how to get this done I would really appreciate it. Gt3b hacked latest firmware. Thanks |

I just received a gt3c brand new. Was interested in having it hacked. Can I ship it to you? What would you charge for the work? Also, is there any other way to contact you? Thanks! |

I have a HSP monster truck that I have converted for filming. I want to be able to switch between a front cam and the side filming camera. I have a Hobbyking cam switch and want to use the GT3B as the controller and need to know how to program it so I can control the truck and use the cam switcher. Is there anyone out there that could help please? |

The cam switch, does it just plug into the RX, or is a "servo & switch"? I will guess if it's a hacked GT3B and the cam switch is like a servo switch, you could program the 3rd channel to something like a "dig" or "+100 0 -100" throw with button pushes.

Hi I have a Flysky GT3C , and I have a doutgh, I have a light controller that has 8 mods of lights, fog, bright, strobe... is the Multi-POsition, switches from the flysky hacked possible to go throuth all does mods in the 3 channel (trim), and do I have to have another receiver with more channels our will the 3 channel receiver do? On the 3 channel of the receiver I have a killswitch when I press the 3 channel it turns on/off that killswitch, so I need another channel so I can go throuth all the other mods of ligths. It has no instructions and very little info on the site. I will google info to find out more about how it operates. I have set up the 3rd channel for lights on another rig so it will be easy to do. Thanks for the info and quick reply Charlie.

| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread Sorry losikid for my bad english, Im Portuguese, but I think its understandable or not? But I will summarize, I have the Flysky GT3C, and a gas buggy, that in the aux channel there is the killswitch to kill the engine in case of a runway our signal lose, and I bought a light controller with 8 modes of lights, I wonder if the multi position channel can be programmed to change each mode of lights, at the momment when I press the aux channel it switches the lights, but at the same time enables the killswitch, and wanted two independent channels each one, one for activate the killswitch and the other for changing the ligth mod. Will the mult position do that? |

| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread 1-It's a holiday, expect slow response. 2-Once you factor in 2 way shipping, plus the hack, it would likely be cheaper/faster to order a hacked system from LosiKid. 3-Buy a hack kit and do it yourself, then you can do firmware updates down the road when it's needed. |
