Its got nothing todo with 3dcart, that chore i'll tackle later on down the road...And, the way they have their servers setup i may have todo a cloned website, but i'll get it done all through html, css, etc.

I'm just switching from justhost to ipage...at first I had some dns issues, i got those fixed, not i gotta figure out some other stuff to make files and stuff accessible through ipage.

bought a new reciver, same that comes with the gt3b, i cannot get this thing to bind for the life of me, i feel like i have tried everything. any tips?
i think my receiver is a dud, i was able to rebind my old receiver. the light blinks slow when i turn it on and try to bind, unlike when i bind my known good receiver which has a faster blinking red light in bind mode

I have had problems like this before with binding. Im not sure what made it work but i tried a few different things. I tried to power it up from a rx pack from a nitro instead of an esc. I tried unplugging everything but the esc. Different combinations of what i powered up first and how long i waited. I have 8 of these rxs and they all did bind eventually but it seems like some just want to give a hard time first for some reason.

Sometimes having the RX & TX antenna's touching when doing the bind works.
As mentioned, some RX's are just a bit flakey compared to others.

How are the batteries in the TX?

Can you set a fail safe on 6 or 8 ch receivers or is that just on the 3 ch?

The newer 6 channels have a cutoff on channel 2. It takes about 2 seconds then cuts to neutral.

So I've got the gt3c. I have it hacked with 0.6.1 and I need help setting up the extra channels. I need a two position and three three position switches. The three positions are for a front and a rear winch setup and 4ws. how can I do this?

Here is a post with a how-to video for setting up 3-position switches on one of your spare channels.

Also a link to the manual.

And remember to back ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE MENUS after making adjustments. I successfully programed my 3-position switch on the first try but spent an hour figuring out why it wasn't working. Doh!

However, what was holding me back from getting the CH3 Trim Key to actuate my dig servo was my failure to back completely out of the settings menus by pressing the End button. I knew I was missing something.

To set 3-position dig (not dual ESCs):
1. Scroll to REV, press long-enter.
2. Scroll to 3 (which is the Ch3 trim switch on the side of the radio hand-grip) and press short-enter.
3. Scroll to CH3 and press short-enter.
4. Scroll to BNL and press short-enter.
5. Scroll to set to 100% servo throw (for the two extreme positions) and press long-enter.
6. Press End to get out of the menus.

To fine-tune the 2 non-centered positions:
1. Scroll to E. Point and press short-enter.
2. Scroll to 3 and press short-enter.
3. Scroll to set the percentage of servo throw for the left-most position. DO NOT PRESS ENTER.
4. Rotate the steering wheel on the radio to the right to access adjustments to servo throw adjustments for right-most position.
5. Scroll to set the percentage of servo throw for the right-most position.
6. Press long-enter.
7. Press End to exit menus.

So I'm finally getting around to the point where I'm going to mess with my program settings on my gtb3. All I need is momentary switches for all of the additional channels, for a shift servo, light controller, winch, 2 firgelli actuators (basically same as winch), and eventually a screw drive system.

Anyway my question is about the above programming, is this what I need and is it the same for all the additional channels 3-8 to set them up as momentary switches? I don't need mixing or anything else at this time.

My only real concern would be the winch and actuators I need them setup to operate like the controller they come with operates.

Push button -- out, Push button -- neutral or stop, Push button -- in

Thanks for any input you can give, I'm trying to go through the programming sheet but I'm lost on some of it ( prob because my heads all fuzzy from this stupid cold)

It`s the same firmware that does 3-6-8 channel, the 0.61 hack.
You run how many channels you need.
I have one rig running 4ch (6ch TX),another running 3.
