Ok new problem, I programed a second car, third car, and fourth car now my dig doesn't work. It functions when I am adjusting end point but when I get out of that, it wont drine the servo. Totally confused.

DrDiff,

You should have each one on a separate model and then swap back to the model you had dig programmed on. Each model memory starts fresh and if you're not on the one where you enabled dig you won't have access to it.

Thanks.

Cool Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread

I am SO HAPPY!

I got my 4WS working. OK, I don't have a second servo for the rear axel, nor the linkages to set it up, So I hooked the stering servo of my 1.9 rig to the 4th channel of my O.P.A.T. Rig and it worked!

I am loading video to YouTube As I post this. I will add the link when it finishes. I still need to get the end points for the DIG adjusted so that the DIG servo doesn't knock the servo horn off of alignment.

any one knows what button correspond to what channel on the rx.
im so used to the easy labels on airplane radios and this seem kind of confusing with so many sub menus.

I just want to be able to control different lights.
So far I can only activate the CH3 TRIM button.
I still have some more LED that I want to control on channel 4 5 on the rx but no luck so far.
I would like to leave ch 3 on the rx unused to use later with a winch.
So I need to control ch 4 and 5 but no clue I read almost all the manual I could find on the hack radio but it mention ch 3 trim only.

I would like to use the CH3 big button anyone have a legend on the actual physical button names on the REV sub menu .

Let see 1st sub menu in REV
1. 1 TR1
2. 2 TR2
3. 3
4. d
5. C
6. b
7. E
8. d
9. d

thanks.

Here's the hi profile switch on the GT3B. It is awesome...

They need a very slight tweak, but the proto's will work fine if you take off a few thou on the legs with some fine grit sand paper or just don't tighten the screws too tight.

Send me an email if you want to buy a set to test out, you'll get a generous discount when I swap over to billet alum versions (Might take awhile before i get them machined)

losikid@overkillrc.com

I'll get the GT3C proto's tested in the next couple of days!

thanks guys.
i bet it get old when noobs keep asking almost the same.

I might have not explain myself that good.

I was asking if the actual physical buttons correspond to a channel on the rx.
if I remember right like on a plane transmitter channel 6 on the rx goes to flap on the transmitter.

But it seem is not the same for this radio. I was able to figure out up to 5 channels that should be enough for now.
it could get confusing for people like me used to the simple 6-8ch airplane radios.

thanks to losikid for providing us with this hacked radio.

my 3yr old can now turn on/off the light on the wraith he loves it. sometimes he have a hard time moving the ch3 trim to the right direction but I would move the LED to the CH3 button.

The switches I posted above makes it ALOT easier to move the switches

Yep, gets pretty old even tho its all in the manual. But this is why we have this thread is to answer.... Lol

The difference is that when you bump up the amount of channels per model..... The radio still acts like the stock settings, then you are physically programing the switch to its function and then to the channel on the rx. You can mix channels and what not..... This radio works as the higher end tx for planes setting rates, mixes etc etc..... Look through each of the choices you are choosing when setting up the channel.... Then use corresponding abbreviations.... Should make more sense

When I setup a timer you get the trigger start only once. From there you need to use a button that's programmed for start/stop and reset (long press usually). Is there a setting to keep it so after you reset it the timer goes back to trigger start? It seems like you get trigger start only once.

I'm pretty sure trigger start should be enabled after you reset....I'll have to look into it some more though
